Here’s mirror download link of Kingroot v4.96 (release date: August 18, 2016)
in our US server so you can directly root your favorite Android device especially most of Xiaomi phones. Kingroot app is being famous of its wide-range compatibility on many Android devices. Yet, the app is also very easy to use. Getting root access with this one-click root app is most probably the easiest among many other similar apps. It is the bomb of all similar apps.
The latest version works with almost all Xiaomi devices running MIUI 7.x or below. But however, I still can’t confirm its compatibility to root newest Xiaomi phones like Mi5 and Mi4s. Feel free to drop comment below if you have any experience using it on your Xiaomi phone whether successful or not.
How Kingroot Works
Shortly saying, Kingroot works by firstly conducting initial identification to some details of your device including it brands (manufacturer), what Android version it is running and what kind of ROM it is. The data will then used to decide which kind of exploit is necessary for Kingroot to inject it to the phone. However, the app will always try to deploy the most suitable strategy. Once the suitable exploit is found in its database, the app will then start downloading it from its cloud into the phone. Yet, Kingroot will also install #Su Binary in System/xbin to ensure that users can keep root access permanently.
How to use
Rooting your device with this app is really just a piece of cake. Simply download the .apk, install it then run the app. Once Kingroot is launched, simply tap on the big green “Root” button then sit tight and wait till the process finished. Done and that’s it.
Note: In case you have not done it yet, please make sure that allow app installation from Unknown Sources is enabled in your MIUI Setting.

Keep in mind that rooting your device may void your phone’s warranty. Also, root access will lose if you remove KingRoot, but reinstalling it can get you the root access back. Use it carefully and with your own risks.
