Replace the MIUI 7.1 China Stable on Redmi Note 3 with this Multilingual (English, French, German, Spanish, etc) MIUI 7.1 so you can enjoy your phone on the language you have known. I know somehow if you got the phone on your country while it has not been officially launched there yet, you might get your phone in Chinese. Instead of waiting for its Global Stable version to become available, here’s a good alternative unofficial MIUI 7.1 ROM multilanguage.
This ROM is not the official one but includes all of the awesomeness plus packed with following languages you can choose: English, Polish, Slovak, Czech, Bulgarian, Hungarian, French, Russian, Croatian, Vietnamese, Italian, Greek, Norwegian, Dutch, Spanish, Turkish, Brazilian-Portuguese, Portuguese, Macedonian, Serbian, Hebrew, Romanian, German and Catalan. Also for your information, this MIUI 7.1 ROM is based on Android 5.02 Lollipop.
Also, considered as custom ROM, installing this ROM may void your phone warranty so proceed with careful and full awareness. Furthermore, proceeding the ROM flashing installation mentioned below may wipe / delete all of our data so making backup is a must. Backup all your data and store it either in your computer or external storage and never ever store the backup file in your phone’s internal storage as it is going to be wiped.
First thing first, download the ROM package file into your computer.
File name :
Version 18.104.22.168.lhncnck_v7-5.0 | 770 downloads | 706 MB
Servers are powered by : SiteGround Cloud and Ramnode
Secondly, download and install TWRP Recovery on Redmi Note 3. The TWRP download link and how to install it are posted in my previous article. Just follow Step 1 to Step 9.
Assuming you have TWRP installed on your Redmi Note 3 already, copy the previously downloaded MIUI Multilanguage ROM file (.zip) into your phone’s internal storage. You can simply use its USB cable to make it fast. Done copying? Now turn off your phone.
Next, go to Settings > Updater > Menu (the three dots in top right corner) then choose Reboot to Recovery Mode.
Now the TWRP interface will open. You can then choose Wipe then clear data, cache and Dalvik cache. Once the wiping process has been finished, simply go back to main recovery menu then choose Install. Locate the .zip file you’ve copied earlier and do the Swipe to install it. Sit tight and wait till the process finished while after that you can simply reboot into normal mode.
That’s it and enjoy your newly installed MIUI 7.1 multilingual custom ROM on your Redmi Note 3.
