Xiaomi Poco F1 Starts Receiving MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM Update

Xiaomi has begun to deploy the stable global ROM of MIUI 10 to the Poco F1 units, Users can expect to receive an update notification in their phones.

To remember, Xiaomi launched the Poco F1 in August as the first terminal of its new brand Pocophone. The terminal came with MIUI 9.6 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, a special version called MIUI for Poco. The Chinese company has confirmed the launch of the stable global ROM of MIUI 10 for the Poco F1, while some users reported receiving the update on their phones.

So far, Xiaomi has not provided all the details of the update through the MIUI forums. But nevertheless, Several users in the forum and Twitter have shared screenshots of the update and its change log.

According to the images, the new update of MIUI comes with the version MIUI and measures 592MB in terms of size. It is also said that the update brought the Android security patch belonging to October 2018.

The MIUI 10 update brings the new full screen experience with gestures navigation to the Poco F1, The update also includes natural and environmental sounds. The global stable ROM of MIUI 10 also includes AI functions that adds a bokeh effect to the shots, without the need for a secondary sensor on the front.

Xiaomi has begun to implement the MIUI 10 OTA update for Poco F1, but the update may take a while to arrive at each unit. Meanwhile, you can check out the latest stable MIUI ROM 10 Global by going to Settings> About phone> System Updates System > Check for Updates.
