Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, is currently struggling to make its recently released smartphones available for Mi fans. To purchase Xiaomi’s new smartphone, especially Xiaomi Mi 9 is quite difficult. This first official sale of this device sold out in 53 seconds. Although the company already prepared in advance, the Mi 9 is still caught in the shortage of supply. Yesterday, Xiaomi announced a weekend sales for this smartphone which will take place by 12 noon and 20:00. The 12-noon sales have since ended and it also sold out swiftly.
At noon today, Gao Ziguang, general manager of Xiaomi said that the pressure on this smartphone is relatively large and the company is doing all within its capacity to handle the situation. Lei Jun also forwarded Gao Ziguang Weibo and said: “The supply of Xiaomi Mi 9 is insufficient. I am particularly stressed. Am I going to buy one?”
In fact, Xiaomi has made great efforts to improve the supply of Xiaomi Mi 9. Earlier, Lin Bin, who personally supervised the production line, said that he would strive to ship more than 1 million units by the end of March. For those willing to buy the Xiaomi Mi 9 in China, it might be a little difficult to do so, however, there is another sale coming up by 20:00 (March 2).
